Childhood Cancer Connection is committed to educating the community about the early warning signs and treatable nature of childhood cancer or blood disorders. Activities include: participation in community health fairs; providing written material to local schools, daycare centers and newspapers; visiting school classrooms after a student has been diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders; a Speakers Bureau to make presentations to local civic groups and organizations; and special activities during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month each September.
An annual holiday party is organized each December and is attended by our patients, their families, staff and volunteers. The gift of friendship is celebrated with a meal, fun activities and seasonal entertainment.
Patients and volunteers get to attend a day at the rodeo thank you to .... generous donation.
